Shannon is a mother of 2 young beautiful children, as well as a RYT-200 yoga instructor who found her way into teaching after 10+ years of being a physical therapist assistance. Other instructors would use the word "embodiment" to describe Shannon. She understands the human body from her years of training as a PTA, as well as from her own personal experiences and illness. From sports related fractures of her wrist, knee, and back to an MS diagnosis, and then later postpartum depression, Shannon has used the powers of yoga to overcome these physical, mental, and spiritual adversity. It is her belief that without a little yoga in her life, she wouldn't be thriving like she is today. With this background she brings knowledge to her practice, as well as compassion and empathy to each individual she works with. Shannon also brings a connecting, playful, uplifting, encouraging, and safe experience to your session, while also keeping it real.Shannon thinks yoga is magic, since it has been a strong and vital stepping stone in her path to health and wellness. Her hobbies and passions are in mountain biking, strength straining, swimming, SUP, yoga (of course), connecting and helping others. "Obstacles do not block the path, they are the path." ~zen proverb
