This approach takes the essences of yoga and the knowledge of the human body from a decade of physical therapy work, to unite these experiences into one body work program. A body worker is someone who uses energetic principles through touch, movement, massage or manipulation to help make transformative and long lasting changes.
Each session will look a little different depending on your muscular balance and goals that day. We usually start with a full body assistive stretch in order to read your muscular makeup and fascia better, but also to help increase flexibility and decrease recovering injuries or pains. We will then use our manual therapy skills to address any scar tissue build up, fascia restrictions, muscular knots or trigger points to help decrease pain and tension. Lastly we will incorporate some yogic postural strengthening and meditation, to help make lasting changes that will carry with you after you leave your mat or our table.
This innovative approach stems from years of physical therapy and yoga experience to embody a well-rounded treatment that will leave you feeling better in no time.
